Modutrol IV Motors • Auxiliary shaft has same torque and dead weight rating as power end shaft — the auxiliary shaft of a normally closed motor can be used for valve or damper linkages in a normally open application • Wiring box provides protection from driving rain (rated NEMA-3) • Reduced power consumption may allow smaller transformer use • Configurable to replace many previous motors • Double ended shafts; 3/8" square, ambient temperature ratings of -40°F to +150°F • Motors are non-spring-return unless otherwise noted • L39-855 and L39-857 : Two-position, spring-return motor used to operate dampers and valves; integral helical spring returns motor shaft to fully closed position on power interruption; one auxiliary switch • L86-163 : Reversing, three-wire SPDT or floating control motor used to operate dampers and valves; adjustable stroke • L86-919 : Proportional motor used to operate dampers and valves when used with a modulating DC voltage source

• L39-861 : Proportional motor used to operate dampers and valves when used with a modulating 4-20mA control signal • L39-862 : Proportional motor used to operate dampers and valves when used with a modulating 4-20mA control signal; includes two auxiliary switches • L86-164 : Two-position, spring-return motor used to operate dampers and valves; integral helical spring returns motor shaft to fully closed position on power interruption • L86-165 , L39-870 , L39-871 , L86-166 , L86-167 , L39-874 and L86-168 : Reversing, proportional motor used to operate dampers and valves • L39-870 : Includes one auxiliary switch • L39-871 : Includes two auxiliary switches • L86-167 : Both power and auxiliary shafts are tapped • L39-874 and L86-168 : Integral helical spring returns motor shaft to fully closed position on power interruption
