OEM Replacement Mercury Flame Sensors • Mercury flame sensors consist of mercury filled sensing bulb, capillary and diaphragm assembly mounted on a switch mechanism • Pilot flame heat vaporizes mercury within sensing bulb, which actuates the snap-action switch

Mercury Flame Sensor • Designed for use with White-Rodgers diaphragm, “Cushioned Power” or “Silent Knight” valves having plug-in receptacle • Sensor combines snap-action SPDT switch and mercury actuated thermal element • Use with natural, manufactured or mixed gases and with LP gases where means are provided for obtaining automatic pilot gas shutoff • Sensors are recycling type, which require relighting or possible restoration of proper gas pressure to return to operation
